About Will

Will specialises in obtaining and managing patent portfolios in the fields of analogue, digital and mixed signal electronics, power electronics, semiconductor devices (design and fabrication), medical technology, signal processing, and telecommunications.

Will works with large corporates and SMEs, as well as universities and research institutions. He is well regarded for his client-focused approach, which prioritises a deep understanding of his clients’ businesses and aims, ensuring service is tailored to their needs.

Will has extensive expertise in patent systems across Asia and the Pacific, which he garnered during his time practising in Sydney. In addition to Europe and the UK, he is qualified to act before the Australian and New Zealand patent offices.

Particular areas of technical expertise include semiconductor devices, semiconductor fabrication tools and techniques, analog & mixed signal electronics, power electronics (including automotive, marine, & grid), power and signal conversion, batteries, battery management, bus architecture, processors, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), photovoltaics (PV), system on chip (SOC), lab on a chip (LOC), data storage, photonics (PICS), audio processing, machine-body interface devices, wearables and implantable devices (including analyte monitoring (CGM, ISEs etc.).

Outside of work, Will dedicates his time to a combination of family, fitness, and fermentation, not necessarily in that order.
