About Thomas

Thomas joined HLK in 2019 following the completion of his Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Glasgow. He qualified as a UK and European patent attorney in 2023.

Whilst working at HLK Thomas has developed his patent drafting and prosecution skills in a wide range of physics, electronics and communications based technologies such as mobile telecommunications, medical devices, domestic appliances, emergency incident technology and software related inventions. Thomas also provides clients with opinions regarding infringement, validity, and freedom-to-operate.

During his time at HLK, Thomas has completed a secondment to a company specialising in telecommunications technology.
