About Nina

Nina has extensive experience managing the global patent portfolios of clients of all sizes including individuals, start-ups, SMEs and multinational corporations. She gives clear and pragmatic advice, sensitive to the commercial needs of each of her clients, and has been praised by clients in large corporations and individuals alike for giving her clients confidence in their decisions.

With Nina’s experience seconding at, and providing cover for, various multinational corporations, she has a sound understanding of the needs of large corporations and their in-house teams, and therefore as private practice counsel, she slots in seamlessly with in-house teams.

Nina is also an inventor in her own right, having invented a technology in home energy management with renewable technologies in her spare time, patented it, and sold it to a third party. Along with her MBA and her experience as a founder of her own company in the circular economy space, this gives Nina a unique insight into the challenges faces by individuals and start-ups.

Nina’s patent experiences extends to patent drafting and prosecution in a wide range of engineering technologies including aeronautical engineering, hydraulics, industrial engineering, robotics, autonomous vehicles, consumer products, renewable technologies, medical devices, fluid and thermodynamics systems, and software. Nina is also experienced in providing freedom-to-operate opinions, oppositions, and due-diligence and patent strategy advice, particularly for early stage companies.
