Haseltine Lake Kempner are pleased to announce our 2021 promotions

Michael Ford

Michael Ford, Nina Szamocki-Hoffman and Jack Whitfield have all been promoted to Senior Associates.

Working in both the Chemistry and Life Sciences and Engineering teams, Michael Ford joined us in 2018 having previously trained at a leading Scottish firm, with a scientific background in materials science and engineering, condensed matter physics and computer modelling.

Nina Szamocki - Hoffman

After completing her Masters in Engineering at the University of Cambridge, Nina Szamocki-Hoffman joined the Engineering team in 2015. She received the Drafting Prize from the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys in 2019 for passing the drafting exam with the highest mark.

Jack Whifield

Jack Whitfield, also part of our Engineering team, completed a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Advanced Design and Innovation at the University of Bath. He joined Haseltine Lake Kempner in 2013 and qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2017.

Kayleigh Walker

Kayleigh Walker is now a Senior Solicitor.

Following her degree in Human Physiology and Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice, Kayleigh Walker carried out her training contract with Haseltine Lake Kempner, qualifying as a specialist intellectual property solicitor in 2014.
